Insurance Company provides critical supplies to OKC and Tulsa schools
OKLAHOMA CITY (July 29, 2022) – CompSource Mutual Insurance Company employees donated classroom materials benefiting Positive Tomorrows and Street School, two organizations that serve students in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa communities who are experiencing barriers to education that could cause them to fall behind or prevent them from completing their secondary education. In total, CompSource Mutual employees donated hundreds of school supplies, including STEM kits and toys, that will directly support education efforts in the community.
“Pouring into local organizations like Positive Tomorrows and Street School that provide for children in need is a cornerstone of our guiding principle of community,” says Lori Faupell, co-chair of the CompSource Mutual Employee Committee. “Every child deserves the opportunity to receive a safe, accessible education. Our company’s annual ‘Stuff The Bus’ initiative enables us to do our part by supporting these deserving students in our community.”
CompSource Mutual is committed to the power of community by supporting and giving back to local organizations and nonprofits across the state of Oklahoma. In addition to direct donations and organized drives, CompSource Mutual hosts a volunteer time-off program for employees to give back to the community in their own time.
