CompSource Mutual has partnered with Coventry, operating the most extensive medical network in Oklahoma, to provide our policymembers with ConsultCare, a service which allows you to receive a consultation from a medical professional 24-hours a day. One quick call to ConsultCare will assist in getting your injured employee the appropriate care within minutes by allowing them to speak to a registered nurse. In addition to peace of mind, ConsultCare can save the cost of an emergency room visit when urgent care, doctor’s visit or self-care is all that’s necessary.

How it Works

Injury occurs

  • In the event of an emergency, call 911 or go directly to an emergency care facility. If the injury is not an emergency, supervisor or employee calls ConsultCare at (855) 310-5448

During the call

  • Nurse obtains medical history and pertinent information
  • Self-care or treatment recommendations are made (per guidelines)
  • Intended course of action and need for follow-up is documented
  • If necessary, information is given for medical providers in the area

After The Call

  • Follow-up is performed for all ER visits and self-care
  • Employer reports injury through normal CompSource Mutual reporting procedures
  • Assist with coordinating health care bloodborne pathogen exposure
  • Employee satisfaction callbacks are made
