OKLAHOMA CITY – (May 11, 2026) – Recently, Oklahoma City-based workers’ compensation carrier CompSource Mutual Insurance Company, provided equipment needed to aid Bennie’s Barn in its recovery efforts following the EF4 tornado that struck Enid, Oklahoma, on April 23, 2026.

Bennie’s Barn, an Enid-based nonprofit whose mission is to provide comprehensive therapy programs using horses to facilitate trust, learning and healing in Northwestern Oklahoma, sustained significant tornado damage. As the organization continues cleanup and rebuilding efforts, CompSource Mutual’s donation is intended to help address immediate operational needs so Bennie’s Barn can continue serving individuals and families in the region.

“At CompSource Mutual, we believe Oklahoma’s most valuable asset is its people. That’s why we’re committed to showing up in the communities where we live and work, in ways that truly help,” said Mark Gruber, chief operating officer of CompSource Mutual. “Providing equipment to support Bennie’s Barn’s recovery is a small gesture, but we hope that by meeting some of their immediate needs, they can return their focus to the healing work they do for individuals and families across Oklahoma.”

The equipment supplied to Bennie’s Barn will be critical to the continuity of services. While the organization works through the paperwork, estimates and eventual construction to repair or rebuild damaged facilities, they’re now able to use other barns for services. Progress won’t be lost, and recipients of Bennie’s Barn’s services will continue meeting important milestones.

Supporting organizations like Bennie’s Barn reflects CompSource Mutual’s commitment to serving Oklahoma’s most valuable asset — its people. By investing in communities and helping trusted local nonprofits recover and continue their work, CompSource Mutual aims to make a meaningful difference for Oklahoma individuals, families and businesses.
