Mission: To be the leader in the Oklahoma workers’ compensation market by providing financial stability, delivering superior service and innovative solutions, promoting workplace safety and serving as a trusted partner to the Oklahoma business community.

Our Community Giving guidelines drive our efforts to serve the people of Oklahoma by investing our time, talents and resources to positively impact the communities in which we live and work.

Areas of Engagement:                 

CompSource Mutual and its employees provide philanthropic support to organizations that positively impact the communities in which we live and work.

Potential partners

Consideration is limited to organizations that have IRS 501(c)(3) status.

Organizations requesting support must provide a Tax Payer Identification Number.


To comply with our areas of corporate engagement, the following causes are restricted from our Community Giving efforts:

  • Political organizations or political candidates
  • Religious or anti-religious causes
  • Advertising and promotion - these opportunities would be considered marketing
  • Primary, secondary school clubs or teams


Forms of community giving

In order to better serve the organizations we partner with, Community Giving at CompSource Mutual can take the form of: 

  • Cash donations
  • Corporate volunteering
  • Donations in kind


Application procedure

Requests must be submitted in writing and are accepted throughout the year.

The following information must be included in the application cover letter to be considered:

  • Brief background and description of the organization
  • Amount of funding requested
  • Confirmation the donation is tax-deductible (IRS letter of tax-exempt charitable status under section 501(c)(3)

Donation requirements

  • If requested, the organization must provide CompSource Mutual with post-event-documentation (photos, video, etc.) within four weeks after the project date.

Acceptance of application

Charitable donations are limited to one per organization during a 12-month period.

Decisions on acceptance or refusal depend on the relevance in relation to our Community Giving Guidelines and funding availability.

All applications are reviewed on an individual basis. We strive to send a notification regarding the decision within two weeks of a decision being made.
